The Danish Arctic Institute photo collection includes more than 300,000 photos. Of these around 190,000 photos are presented on the website, and each day new ones are uploaded.

Photo Collection

The Danish Arctic Institute photo collection covers expedition history in the Arctic, private photos and more or less every aspect of the Greenlandic society. The oldest photos are from the 1860s and the majority of the photos are from the period 1890-1960.

The photos in the collection are at disposal for purpose of study, in private or commercial relations, and can be delivered digitally at a high solution.
