The art collection includes works with Greenlandic motifs created by both Danish and Greenlandic artists. Among the collection's prominent works are Eigil Knuth's portrait busts from Tasiilaq and Anne-Birthe Hove's graphic series "Hommage to Aron."
In addition to art, the Institute has a collection of objects originating from Arctic expeditions in the 20th century, and from polar researchers and Danes who lived and worked in Greenland www.arktiskebilleder.dk
In 2025-26, the Institute carried out a registration project with support from:Dronning Margrethes og Prins Henriks Fond, Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond, Knud Højgaards Fond, Beckett Fonden og Den Grønlandske Fond.
